Job Description : What will you do

  • Implementation of security scanning tools in the space of SAST SCA and DAST
  • Integration of security tools with devops tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket and Artifactory.
  • Examining solutions for automation in the appsec space.
  • Communication with external vendors for reporting issues and implementing fixes.
  • Analysing results from security scans.
  • Administering ad-hoc manual scans in security scanning tools.
  • Documentation of processes; general and tool-specific.
What do you need to succeed
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills
  • Able to collaborate in a team environment
  • Strong willingness to learn from others and have a passion for the job
  • Critical thinking and can-do attitude.
  • Experience in scripting (Python, Perl, Powershell)
  • Experience programming in Java is preferred
  • Knowledge of the SDLC and DevOps
  • Threat knowledge - understanding OWASP top 10 vulnerabilities and their remediation

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted for. The Base Pay which you will be considered for will vary depending on the Campus program you are selected for.

Eligible Sun Life employees for various Campus Graduate programs will also participate in various incentive plans payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
