General Job Description

Work effectively within the Registrar and Student Services Department. Work with prospective, current and past students with course registration, application processes and funding. Have a working knowledge of Adult Upgrading course sequencing. Understand post-secondary program requirements and academic and career advising, ensuring students are enrolled in appropriate courses. Able to navigate funding platforms and submit required information to funders. Serve as a liaison between students, funding agencies, community agencies and other academic institutions. Providing regular updates to their supervisor.

Qualifications

• College Diploma in a relevant discipline required.
• A minimum of 1 – 2 years of academic support in a post-secondary educational setting preferred.
• Knowledge of course sequencing, student placement and career counselling required.
