Job Summary:

  • ABM College is currently seeking a full-time Student Admissions Advisor for immediate hire at our Toronto Campus.
  • Our Advisors help potential students select and enroll in their ideal program. The ideal candidate is highly competent, energetic, and motivated.
  • A positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and passion for providing top-tier sales experience are essential.
  • This role is well suited for someone with experience in social media marketing who can actively engage with potential leads on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to generate interest in our programs.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Recruit students through a combination of warm and cold calling, student interviews, information sessions, and booking appointments for admissions.
  • Follow up with prospective students via direct meetings, live chat, phone calls, and emails to schedule admissions appointments.
  • Achieve admission enrollment sales quotas set by the college.
  • Guide prospective students on programs, admissions procedures, eligibility, costs, and financial support, offering guidance and clarifications throughout the admission process.
  • Participate in recruitment events, open houses, school fairs, information sessions, exhibitions, school visits, and off-campus events.
  • Use social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to generate and nurture leads, for admissions by creating engaging posts, responding promptly to inquiries, and encouraging enrollment. Collaborate with the marketing team to align activities with promotional campaigns.
  • Assist in preparing admission presentations and hosting student receptions.
  • Maintain a database of student information, telephone logs, and student feedback to generate student reports for management.
  • Manage incoming phone calls, direct them to the appropriate department, and take messages when necessary.
  • Support various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • Passionate about providing a top-tier sales experience.
  • Experience in achieving enrollment or sales quotas is preferred.
  • Experience in social media marketing, specifically with lead generation and posting on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, is highly preferred.
  • Experience in a post-secondary institution is an asset.
  • Advanced knowledge of the admissions process within a post-secondary environment, including criteria, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent ability to perform tasks with accuracy, promptness, and minimal supervision.

Schedule

  • 8 hour shift.
  • Monday to Friday.

Education
