Structures Technician

Join a dynamic team as an Aviation Maintenance Technician, where you will be responsible for maintaining and modifying various aircraft components. This role requires extensive experience in MRO and AMO settings, as well as expertise in heavy modifications and structural repairs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans in coordination with team leads.
  • Assist and mentor apprentices in their daily tasks.
  • Order parts and ensure that necessary components are available for repairs.
  • Modify and install parts, such as radiators and tanks, according to blueprints.
  • Conduct tailgate meetings to outline daily tasks and objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with crew leads to execute tasks efficiently.
  • Perform maintenance inspections, grinding corrosion, and repairing damages.
  • Provide feedback and discuss repair strategies with leads and managers.
  • Engage in physical tasks requiring stooping, kneeling, and working on the floor.
Essential Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in MRO / AMO environments.
  • Proficiency in heavy modifications and structural repairs.
  • Possession of own tools for maintenance tasks.

Work Environment

Work alongside approximately 30 colleagues in a shift pattern of two weeks on and one week off. Shifts run from 6 am to 4 : 30 pm with potential overtime and a possibility of moving to an afternoon shift as the team grows.
