A leading multi-disciplinary engineering firm in London, Ontario, is seeking a Structural / Building Design Technologist Co-op for an 8-month term starting January 2026. The role involves assisting in the design and drafting of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Candidates must be enrolled in an Architectural Technology Diploma program and possess skills in AutoCAD and Revit. This position offers competitive salary, paid overtime, and a balanced work schedule.
SBM is currently seeking Structural / Building Design Technologist Co‑op in our London office for an 8‑month term (may consider 4‑month term) starting January 2026. The successful candidate will assist both the structural engineering & building design departments with the design and drafting of residential, commercial and industrial sectors. The candidate will be required to work with the structural engineers & building design team in producing designs and drawings for permit and construction. The candidate will be expected to work both independently and within the project group to facilitate the design requirements to reach project completion. The candidate will also be encouraged to take on special project tasks to help promote efficiencies of current design procedures and will have the opportunity to attend occasional site visits.

This is a full‑time temporary in‑office position. At SBM we prioritize a positive work culture believing that strong relationships with our employees lead to exceptional customer service and outstanding results for our clients. Enjoy a balanced 40‑hour workweek of 8 am‑5 pm Monday‑Thursday and an early finish at 2 : 30 pm on Fridays.
