Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team invites you to join the Telecommunications Structures group as a Team Leader in Canada (Montreal/Laval/Longueuil). Lead a specialized team, oversee technical work, and drive complex projects involving steel towers, masts, and roof-mounted structures, while coordinating with internal teams and clients across Quebec.

The role requires a civil engineering degree with a focus on structures and a decade of relevant experience, plus OIQ membership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, specializing in structures.
• 10 years of experience in analysis and design of telecommunications structures/steel frames.
• Member of the OIQ.
• Knowledge of TS Tower software (a significant asset).
• Excellent ability to work in a team.
• Plan work to meet deadlines and expected project performance targets.

Responsibilities

• Technical and operational management of a telecommunications structures team, while contributing to varied and complex projects.
• Work on different types of structures, mainly steel: towers (self-supporting, guyed, tubular), masts, roof installations, transmission towers, water tanks, and other special structures.

Stantec is offering you a great opportunity to join the telecommunications structures team in a key role based in Montreal, Laval, or Longueuil, working on-site or in a hybrid mode. As a Telecommunications Structures Team Leader, you will be responsible for the technical and operational management of a specialized team, while actively contributing to the completion of varied and complex projects. You will work on different types of structures, mainly steel, including towers (self-supporting, guyed, and tubular), masts, structures installed on building roofs, power transmission towers, water tanks, and other special structures.

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, specializing in structures;
• 10 years of experience in the analysis and design of telecommunications structures/steel frames;
• Member of the OIQ;
• Knowledge of TS Tower software (a significant asset);
• Excellent ability to work in a team;
• Plan work to meet deadlines and expected project performance targets.
• Good command of spoken and written French. Knowledge of English is an asset to facilitate collaboration with our internal teams outside Quebec or with clients.
