A prominent defense contractor in Canada is seeking a Detail Designer to create blueprints and schematics, ensuring compliance with design standards. This role requires proficiency in CAD software and collaboration across teams to tackle complex design challenges. Salary: $62,250 - $79,397
You’ll receive benefits including a generous annual leave allowance and paid sick leave. You’ll also have access to additional benefits such as flexible working, group health, dental, and vision benefits as well as life insurance – you may also be eligible for an annual bonus.
In addition, you will also be entitled to a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) company match of up to 5% of your annual salary.
As a Detail Designer, you will manage design tasks related to ship structures, piping systems, or outfit designs. You will create 3D models and 2D technical drawings for ship components (structural elements, piping, or outfit systems) using CAD software. You will be working closely with various teams in Canada and the UK to ensure the accuracy, safety, and quality of designs.
