Job summary

Qualifications

Structural Engineer Responsibilities:
  • The team are currently engaged in large regeneration schemes predominately constructed from reinforced concrete, smaller residential schemes using traditional building techniques and a variety of commercial, educational and maritime projects utilising a range of different materials and construction techniques.
  • Undertake detailed structural engineering design on retail / commercial projects.
  • Prepare technical schedules, reports and designs at a variety of project work stages.
  • Represent the company at meetings with clients, suppliers and other 3rd parties
  • Ensure an excellent level of service is delivered consistently, design decisions are met, and project work is carried out within the agreed deadlines and budgets
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of structural design using a variety of building materials including traditional build, steel frame, reinforced concrete and timber frames, ideally working with significant structures.
  • Proficient in Tekla or alternative building modelling software
