Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies in Canada is seeking a Professional Engineer or Technologist with 2+ years of industry experience to join our structural team. You will use 2D/3D CAD and related tools to develop structural designs and produce steel detail drawings for manufacturing. Deliverables must meet Quality, Cost and Schedule requirements.

You may perform site inspections and travel to projects. Brandt offers market-based wages, continuous learning, advancement opportunities, and a solid benefits

Qualifications

Professional Engineer or Technologist with 2+ years industry experience.
Knowledge of Canadian National Building Code and industry practice.
Building industry experience.
Experience with Stadd, Autcad, Tekla and Revit.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Use 2D/3D CAD and other tools to develop structural designs.
Produce steel detail drawings for manufacturing.
Produce engineering deliverables that meet Quality, Cost and Schedule requirements.
Site inspections as required.
Travel as required by projects.
