Job summary

A rapidly expanding Steel Fabricator in Metro Vancouver is looking for a Structural Engineer with P. Eng to design structures and manage steel connections. Candidates must have experience in a fabrication environment and be able to manage multiple projects. This role is available in a hybrid or onsite format.

Qualifications

• P.Eng and licensure in at least one Canadian Province required.
• Experience in a fabrication environment and managing multiple projects.
• Background in civil engineering and designing structural steel.

Responsibilities

• Design structures within applicable design codes.
• Manage design and detailing of welded and bolted steel connections.
• Involved in bridge component design, including expansion joints.

Skills

Understanding of a Fabrication Environment

Civil Engineering Background

Education

What You'll Do

• Design Structures within applicable design codes
• Design and detail management of all welded and bolted steel connections
• Bridge Component Design, including expansion joints and bearings.
• New Product Development opportunities
