Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced engineer/designer to work from one of our Quebec offices (Montréal, Laval, or surrounding areas). You will design and draft structural projects using REVIT, perform site surveys, and assist with estimates and plans.

Qualifications

• DEC in civil engineering or architecture with a minimum of 3 years of experience in building structures.
• Experience in structural design for buildings.
• Strong REVIT skills and knowledge of construction documentation.
• Fluent French (oral and written); English is an asset.
• ASP health and safety certification for on-site work.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Design and draft various building structure projects of different scales.
• Carry out site measurements and surveys.
• Assist in the preparation of estimations, plans and specifications.
• Participate in inspection activities and coordination with project stakeholders.
• Apply company and client procedures and standards; provide technical support to colleagues and clients.

Plus précisément, vous serez appelé à :

• Concevoir et mettre en plan divers projets de structures de différentes envergures;
• Réaliser des relevés;
• Participer à l’élaboration d’estimations, de plans et de devis;
• Participer à des travaux d’inspection;
• Coordonner les activités avec les divers intervenants aux projets;
• Appliquer les procédures et standards de l’entreprise ainsi que ceux des clients;
• Appuyer techniquement collègues, collaborateurs et clients;
• Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe pouvant aider à la réalisation des projets.

Votre parcours

• Détenir un diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) en génie civil ou architecture, jumelé à un minimum de 3 ans d'expérience en structure de bâtiment;
• Expérience en conception de projets structuraux;
• Avoir une bonne maîtrise du logiciel REVIT;
• Bonne maîtrise du français (oral et écrit) (anglais un atout);
• Posséder une attestation en santé et sécurité générale sur les chantiers de construction (ASP);
• Connaître les logiciels de la suite Microsoft Office;
• Posséder un permis de conduire valide et avoir accès à une voiture.

Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
