An engineering consulting firm in Markham is seeking an individual to assist in designing transportation and transit structures. Responsibilities include preparing documentation, coordinating with project managers, and conducting site inspections. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering and is working towards a P.Eng. license. In this role, you will contribute to the design, evaluation, and construction of transportation and transit structures, including bridges, underground transit stations, culverts, retaining walls, and overhead supports. You will assist with technical documentation, design calculations, construction administration, and site inspections. The role involves collaboration with senior engineers and project managers on project coordination, contract documentation, proposals, and client meetings. You will ensure quality and safety standards are met while developing professional skills through mentorship, training, and exposure to challenging projects.
