Job summary

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers is seeking a Structural Designer to join our Digital Delivery team in Darlington. You will perform structural design and production tasks for temporary structures supporting construction operations, developing construction documents and 3D models while collaborating closely with engineers, estimators, and construction teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience producing construction documents and be proficient with current technical tools and software,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience producing 3D-based construction documents.
• Associate degree or diploma in CAD, Engineering Technology, or related program, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Revit, including 3D modeling, sheet production, and family creation.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate 3D models for temporary structures supporting construction activities.
• Create design and construction documents for estimating support, construction execution, and material procurement.
• Maintain accurate status updates for assigned tasks within team schedules.
• Apply company standards and contribute to drafting and design process improvements.
• Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to identify and resolve design conflicts.
• Support practical, constructible, and safe temporary structure solutions.
