Join our Group Benefits Operations team and play a key role in shaping the back‑office transformation strategy for Manulife Group Benefits in Canada. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, influencing change, and driving strategic initiatives that make a real impact.
You’ll be at the center of executing strategic initiatives that align with our Operations and Group Benefits strategy. Your work will involve:
Turning data into actionable insights.
Driving execution of transformation projects.
Partnering with leaders across teams and geographies to achieve results.
Influencing decisions and creating alignment for change.
Telling the story of the group benefits operations team through impactful presentations.
You may also lead small project teams to deliver strategic and transformation outcomes.
Deliver Strategic Projects: Manage initiatives with measurable business impact, ensuring benefits are realized.
Analyze & Recommend: Use data to identify trends, measure performance, and propose improvements.
Drive Change: Facilitate decision‑making, manage milestones, and keep stakeholders aligned.
Communicate Powerfully: Build compelling presentations and stories for senior leadership.
Support Leadership: From monthly business reviews to annual strategy sessions, you’ll help keep priorities on track.
Experience & Background
5+ years in strategy roles (consulting, investment banking, or similar).
Financial services experience is an asset.
Analytical Thinker
Strong quantitative and financial analysis skills.
Ability to identify trends and solve problems logically.
Strategic Influencer
Skilled at influencing senior leaders and gaining buy‑in.
Comfortable making recommendations and driving decisions.
Exceptional Communicator
Advanced PowerPoint and storytelling skills.
Ability to simplify complex ideas for senior audiences.
