Job summary

A manufacturing company in Ontario is seeking a Supply Chain and Procurement Specialist to manage material planning and flow. Key responsibilities include analyzing requirements, managing orders, and developing production plans. The ideal candidate will have a university degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in ERP systems. Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position in a manufacturing organization.
  • University degree in administration, supply chain, or another field related to procurement, combined with equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse steel requirements and recommend purchasing and transfer.
  • Manage purchase and transfer orders for raw materials ensuring compliance.
  • Develop short/mid-term production plans for steel embossing.
  • Implement contingency plans to mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Ensure accurate inventory control through cycle counting.
