Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Dorval, QC, is seeking a Supply Chain Agent (Contract) to lead sourcing activities for corporate and engineering services. You will develop supplier networks, negotiate terms, and drive cost reduction while aligning with master and detailed plans.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or law, 2+ years of experience, and fluency in English and French.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, law or equivalent.
• At least two years of professional experience; more years are an advantage.
• Experience in the aerospace industry and/or manufacturing environment and/or program management is a plus.
• Strong negotiation skills and project management experience.
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven and a strong team player with leadership-without-authority.
• Knowledge of legal terminology or interpretation of contracts is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Able to work in English and French daily.
• On-site work at Montreal facilities at least two days per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop new sources of supply and establish strategic alliances.
• Develop negotiation business strategies.
• Lead and manage commodity projects with business cases.
• Lead commodity strategy and report to senior management.
• Identify, analyze and realize cost reduction opportunities.
• Create and maintain internal and external supplier networks.
• Interface with suppliers as the single point of contact for new business.
• Coordinate and lead supplier negotiations and contract amendments.
• Support sites with sourcing strategies and contract remedies.
• Drive governance of cost reduction initiatives and project delivery.
