Actalent is hiring a Strategic Sourcing/Estimating Procurement Specialist in Calgary, AB. The role supports estimating and pre-construction by developing procurement strategies, sourcing suppliers, validating pricing, and building procurement packages for seamless project execution upon award.

Qualifications

• 7-12 years experience in Supply Chain.
• 3-5 years in major procurement (Full RFx Process).
• RFQ development and administration.
• Strategic sourcing experience.
• Vendor relationship management with suppliers.
• Experience supporting: Estimating, pre-construction and proposal teams.
• Ability to interpret Engineering drawings, Specifications, BOMs, and technical procurement packages.

Job Description

The strategic sourcing specialist will be supporting estimating and pre-construction teams by developing procurement strategies, sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, validating pricing, and building procurement packages that can seamlessly transition into project execution upon award.

This role functions as the procurement arm of the estimating team and is responsible for establishing vendor relationships, maintaining current pricing intelligence, and ensuring procurement readiness before projects are awarded.

Key Responsibilities

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Calgary, AB.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
