Management - Commercial agreements
  • Performs full management of commercial agreements under his/her leadership.
  • Ensures a rigorous follow-up of the analyses completed by the department's analyst and, depending on the results of the analyses, takes the necessary actions with suppliers.
  • Identifies growth and revenue opportunities.
  • Meets with suppliers on a quarterly basis.
Results - Analyses
  • Reads the analyses produced by the analyst, makes sure he/she understands them and establishes an action plan.
  • Seizes opportunities to reduce costs and, if necessary, reopens trade agreements for renegotiation.
  • Ensures a rigorous follow-up of price lists.
  • Ensures the follow-up of rebates in collaboration with the analyst/suppliers.
Management - RFP & Surveys
  • Plans RFP prior to the expiry of commercial agreements, working closely with the analyst as well as the Québec team.
  • Respects the RFP schedule.
  • Schedules supplier satisfaction surveys.
Results – RFP and Surveys
  • Strives to reduce the cost of purchasing products and services and obtain the best financial benefits (discounts, bonuses) through calls for RFP.
  • Takes the necessary actions with suppliers based on survey results.
Customer Experience
  • Works closely with Operations on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintains open and effective communication with field teams as well as with suppliers.
  • Develops increased knowledge of the buildings under the management of COGIR and travels to make field visits, ensuring quality communications with operations and suppliers.
  • Strives to get to know the product categories under his/her responsibility through various means (reading, conferences, training) and keeps an eye on the market to seize opportunities.
Work Organization
  • Ensures that documents related to commercial agreements under his/her responsibility are properly filed so that they are easily accessible to the entire team.
  • Organizes/plans work with the team in Québec for national agreements.
  • Develops new work tools/documents with the aim of making the work efficient.
  • Participates in team meetings, schedules meetings with team members as needed and vendors.
New Building Integration
  • Works closely with the entire team for the integration of new buildings throughout the year.
  • Ensures communication with suppliers in his/her category.
