The Strategic Sourcing Manager will identify and implement significant cost reduction strategies; while improving quality, delivery, and service from our supply base. In particular, he/she must:Drive cost-focused strategy for assigned sites and commodities across Nortek Air SolutionsResponsible for sourcing strategy, supply market analysis, supplier capability assessment, supplier recruitment and management, RFQ/P development, analysis of complex data, and managing projects across multiple sites.Participates in assessment and prioritization of strategic sourcing opportunities to achieve business objectivesLead cross functional product development activities with key suppliers.Supports performance tracking activities including sourcing savings, contract compliance and other measures.Ensure price controllership via PPV reporting and contract management.Other Ad hoc duties as assigned by manager.What you bringBachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or Engineering.A minimum of five (5) years strategic purchasing experience in a similar position combined with a solid track record.Advanced analytical abilities and problem-solving techniques in understanding data collection and the ability to develop intuitive and actionable insights.Thorough knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office software and ERP systemsCustomer centric mindset towards manufacturingEnjoys embracing and igniting change as a catalyst for improvement.A “builder” who is comfortable in a continuous improvement culture.Proven success in meeting aggressive cost reduction, supplier negotiation and productivity targets.Working conditionsTravel up to 25%, some international travel.Passport required.Competitive base salary, benefits, pension plan and incentive planAbout Nortek Air SolutionsNortek Air Solutions (NAS) is a Madison Industries company.
