Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Toronto is seeking a Business Development professional. In this role, you will source acquisition opportunities, manage relationships with software industry leaders, and maintain CRM hygiene in Salesforce. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in business development or M&A, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in outbound origination.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in business development, M&A origination, software sales, or private equity.
  • Proven success in outbound origination with metrics-driven mindset.
  • Deep familiarity with Salesforce and maintaining data hygiene.

Responsibilities

  • Source and qualify new acquisition opportunities by engaging with software company founders.
  • Build and nurture relationships with founders, brokers, and advisors.
  • Manage CRM hygiene and report on business development metrics.
