About the Program

The Strategic Sales Development Program is a full‑time entry‑level position where you live the entire learning journey of EMCO. Over five phases, you’ll acquire experience in shipping, receiving, sales, operations, purchasing, account management, and more.

Phases
  • Phase 1 – Warehouse Logistics
    • Learn the products, supply chain, and all levels of sales support.
    • Participate in customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory & pricing controls, credit management, and financial statements.
    • Process orders from quote to delivery, ensuring timely follow‑up.
  • Phase 4 – Outside Sales & Account Management
    • Identify new business opportunities, sell products, negotiate contracts, and build customer and vendor relationships.
  • Phase 5 – Career Path Selection
    • Use the knowledge gained to determine the ideal career path within EMCO.
Qualifications
  • College and/or University degree.
  • Customer service or customer‑facing experience.
  • Positive attitude and results‑oriented mindset.
  • Team‑based work environment with minimal supervision.
  • Sales background and experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Desire to develop, learn and grow.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Salary

Salary Range: $45,000 – $65,000 (first year teammate). Includes base salary plus profit sharing based on individual performance and business results.
