Job summary

Alberta Health Services seeks a Program Manager to act as a liaison between the Stollery Children’s Hospital and the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation, ensuring alignment in planning and advocacy for the new hospital.

Leading cross-functional teams, you will engage senior leaders, coordinate with Finance, Legal, HR, Communications and external partners, manage risks, and drive multi-year initiatives with independence and strategic thinking.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a healthcare profession, healthcare management or business administration.
• 5-10 years pediatric healthcare experience with 2-5 years in a formal or informal leadership role.
• Experience within a tertiary (academic) pediatric acute care environment.
• 5–10 years healthcare experience in large, complex organizations.
• Strong knowledge of Stollery services, healthcare operations, and strategy.
• Proven project management, communication, and analytical skills, including presenting data to donors.
• Skilled in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and conflict management.
• Demonstrates sound judgment, problem solving, and ability to manage multiple priorities and sensitive issues; foundation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key liaison between Stollery Children’s Hospital and the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
• Ensure alignment and integration in planning, advocacy and activities for building the new hospital.
• Build relationships with senior leadership at the Foundation and Hospital to foster cooperation.
• Provide input into strategies and plans for the new hospital and related programs.
• Coordinate activities with operational teams and external stakeholders; manage risks and impacts to programs and services.
