Job summary

ABB Canada is seeking a Service Manager, Procurement & Customs Compliance to secure the uninterrupted supply of materials while optimizing total cost and mitigating import/export risks. The role sits in the Electrification, Smart Buildings division and is based in Dorval with a hybrid work model (2–3 days in-office).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.
• MBA or relevant professional certification is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the procurement strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Negotiate framework agreements, commercial terms, and service agreements with suppliers.
• Identify and qualify new local and international suppliers.
• Lead cost-reduction and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Manage supplier-related risks and ensure continuity of supply.
• Monitor supplier performance using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure compliance with Canadian, U.S., and international customs regulations.
• Oversee tariff classification of imported and exported products.
• Analyze the impact of customs duties, surtaxes, countervailing tariffs, and protectionist trade measures on procurement costs.
