Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies in Canada is seeking a Procurement Analyst to analyze spend portfolios, develop sourcing strategies, and manage supplier relationships to support business units.

You will lead contract negotiations, monitor performance metrics, and help deliver cost reductions. The role requires 1–3 years in procurement or supply chain and a post-secondary degree in business, engineering, economics or related field.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or Supply Chain.
• SCMP designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze spend portfolio and determine procurement approach based on dollars and opportunity.
• Assist in long-range sourcing strategies for projects or commodities.
• Become subject matter expert in supply markets and advise on trends.
• Develop sourcing strategies using supplier and market data to improve Brandt’s position.
• Assist with supplier selection, negotiations, and contracts.
• Manage supplier relationships to support business unit requirements.
• Understand contracting processes and drive compliant agreements.
• Deliver commercially sound supplier contracts matching tech, quality, and cost goals.
• Negotiate current contracts and implement new sourcing initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and supplier performance improvements.
• Develop, write and publish bids (RFI, RFP, RFQ, RFx).
• Maintain market information to keep prices competitive within contracts.
• Monitor and report performance metrics to Purchasing Manager.
