Job summary

RTX is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage material procurement, negotiate with suppliers, and support manufacturing schedules. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering to optimize supplier performance and ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a university degree in a related field and at least 2 years in buying/planning, with strong Excel, Project, and ERP skills. This position involves working in Canada with standard benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

University degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
Minimum 2 years buying and/or planning experience.
Strong computer skills including Excel and Project; familiarity with ERP and JIT.

Responsibilities

Manage procurement for all material from purchase request through on-time delivery and alignment with manufacturing schedule.
Coordinate activities within the Supply Chain team to fulfill the manufacturing plan.
Negotiate quotes and select suppliers to meet budgets and quality requirements.
Align supplier schedules with facility needs and obtain confirmations to mitigate delivery risks.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and resolve invoice issues.
