Job summary

Ontario Pension Board (OPB) is seeking a Strategy Planning & Corporate Reporting Specialist to support annual business planning, the Annual Report, and related communications. You will synthesize data and insights to tell compelling narratives that advance organizational priorities.

You will build strong relationships with executives and partners, coordinate with ELT on strategic initiatives, and ensure content is accurate, timely and aligned with government reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in communications or public affairs or related field.
• Experience in strategic planning and corporate reporting.
• Strong writing, verbal and presentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
• Knowledge of Ontario public sector environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops strategic communications materials including plans, key messages and briefing notes.
• Builds trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders including ELT.
• Provides strategic communications advice and audience-focused approaches.
• Analyzes communication effectiveness using data and insights.
• Collaborates with partners and vendors on digital communications products.
• Supports implementation of OPB’s strategic plan and external reporting.
