Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires 5 years of procurement and sourcing experience in mid-to-senior roles.
• Experience preparing and evaluating procurement and contract documents; leading negotiations.
• Knowledge of markets and SCM best practices; supplier relationship management.
• Experience in Crown corporation/government environments is an asset.
• Proficient with MS Office and contract/bid laws.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies and manage processes from strategy to award.
• Identify sourcing risks using analyses of internal state, costs, and market options.
• Report to department manager on status and escalation issues.
• Roll out business process improvements to boost efficiency.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders inside and outside the company.
