Doka Canada is seeking a Demand Planner to ensure accurate material planning and availability aligned with project forecasts. You will coordinate with the Distribution Center and regional subsidiaries to meet customer needs and maintain optimal stock levels.

You will collaborate with suppliers, manage orders, and participate in Sales & Operations meetings to forecast demand and optimize logistics and costs.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Logistics; Commercial/Technical qualification is a plus.
• High school diploma required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction or fast-paced environments with variable material needs.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French.

Responsabilidades

• Material Planning & Availability: ensure planning and availability per project forecasts with DC and subsidiaries.
• Collaborate with external suppliers to manage orders for customized materials.
• Order Processing: ensure timely and accurate placement of orders and update delivery dates with the commercial department.
• Attend Sales & Operations meetings to align forecasts with material planning.
• Stock Level Optimization: monitor and optimize safety stock and inventory levels.
• Sourcing Coordination: coordinate with Supply Planner and Head of Operations to avoid negative inventories and ensure timely reservations.
• Engineering Coordination: work with Engineering to find substitutions for shortages or long lead times.
• Return Planning: coordinate return planning from client sites to avoid surplus materials.
• Material Movement Monitoring: track movements and resolve disputes during project periods.
• Reporting & Period Closings: adhere to deadlines and support month/year-end closings; approve orders per authority levels.
• Logistics Management: coordinate transport and release of materials; optimize transport costs.
