Job summary

A leading healthcare institution in Toronto is seeking a Research Computing Manager to oversee high-performance computing infrastructure and support faculty and student research activities. The role involves managing support teams and collaborating with IT and research staff. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of experience and significant programming knowledge. This full-time position may require weekend and on-call activities.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in a related position or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Experience implementing enterprise software solutions.
  • Understanding of high-performance computing architectures is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing capabilities and develop new functionalities for research computing.
  • Support SRI faculty and student work via consultations and presentations.
  • Manage deskside support, system administration, and clinical research applications teams.
