Job summary

A leading health center in Barrie, Ontario, is seeking a People Partnerships Consultant to provide strategic HR guidance and support to leaders across the organization. This role requires a degree in HR Management or a related field, along with at least five years of relevant experience in a unionized environment. Responsibilities include advising on HR best practices, conducting workplace investigations, and assisting with employee and labor relations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and knowledge of employment legislation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of related HR experience in a unionized environment.
  • Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation (Employment Standards Act, Ontario Human Rights).

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic advice and coaching on people management best practices.
  • Conduct workplace investigations including evidence gathering and documentation.
  • Participate in Return-to-Work meetings and facilitate accommodations.
