Job summary

Seniors Services Society of BC (SSSBC) in New Westminster, BC, seeks a Resource Development Officer to lead fundraising strategies and donor engagement while guiding social media and vendor oversight. Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive fundraising experience.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, donor databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of donor stewardship and relationship management.
  • Excellent grant writing, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual fundraising plans and revenue targets.
  • Identify opportunities for growth in major gifts, grants, corporate partnerships, and legacy giving.
  • Build and maintain a donor pipeline.
  • Cultivate and steward major donors and develop recognition programs.
  • Monitor donor data entry and ensure updated contact information.
  • Support the CEO and Board in donor engagement activities.
  • Oversee external vendors for annual report, newsletter, and website.
