Job summary

Seniors Services Society of BC (SSSBC) in New Westminster, BC, seeks a Resource Development Officer to lead fundraising strategies and donor engagement while guiding social media and vendor oversight. Reporting to the CEO, you will grow philanthropic revenue and elevate public awareness of SSSBC's mission to help seniors stay safely housed and connected to their communities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive fundraising experience.
• Proficiency in CRM systems, donor databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of donor stewardship and relationship management.
• Excellent grant writing, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual fundraising plans and revenue targets.
• Identify opportunities for growth in major gifts, grants, corporate partnerships, and legacy giving.
• Build and maintain a donor pipeline.
• Cultivate and steward major donors and develop recognition programs.
• Monitor donor data entry and ensure updated contact information.
• Support the CEO and Board in donor engagement activities.
• Oversee external vendors for annual report, newsletter, and website.
