Job summary

A staffing solutions company is seeking a Project Manager in finance and corporate planning for a 1-year term in Canada. The role involves leading the implementation of financial frameworks and supporting corporate initiatives. The ideal candidate should have 5–10 years of experience in finance or project management, along with strong analytical and communication skills. This position offers a hybrid working model of 3 days on-site initially, transitioning to 4 days a month at the headquarters in Ottawa.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in project management related to finance or strategic planning.
• Experience in corporate planning, performance measurement, risk management, or internal controls.
• Public sector finance or financial services background.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of new PSAS Conceptual Framework and financial statement format.
• Support or lead Climate-Related Disclosures (TCFD) initiative.
• Document and improve the year-end financial reporting process.
