Qualifications

• Five to seven years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Solid background in Finance / Accounting. Earlier experience in business control is an asset.
• Experience of working in an international environment and with group reporting.
• Experience in people management (and management of staff).
• Experience of ERP systems and ERP rollouts would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure submission of financial and management reports in conformance with Group practices.
• Cash management planning and reporting.
• Review and analyze inventory, manufacturing WIP, and recommend actions.
• Establish internal control procedures and ensure testing of good controls.
• Manage the external audit process including schedule preparation.
• Provide reports for all levels of management.
• Safeguard and manage fixed asset records.
• Prepare accurate investment proposals and follow-up.
• Assist with strategic planning including SCORECARD reporting.
• Ensure accounting processes are documented and adhered to.
