Job summary

Green Infrastructure Partners Inc. is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the corporate accounting function, oversee month-end close, and ensure the integrity of balance sheet accounts.

You will mentor the accounting team, provide guidance to Operations Finance, and drive improvements in reporting processes while collaborating with IT and external auditors. The role requires CPA designation, IFRS expertise, and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with a hands-on approach to journal entries,

Qualifications

• CPA designation (required).
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, or Finance.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, corporate accounting or public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and consolidated financial reporting.
• Previous experience leading or mentoring accounting professionals.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business demands, and consistently deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and time-sensitive commitments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the corporate accounting function and oversee month-end close activities for the enterprise.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations and accounting schedules prepared by the team.
• Mentor and develop accounting team members.
• Act as primary accounting advisor to Operations Finance teams and partner with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Payroll, Legal, Procurement and Operations.
• Drive improvements to month-end close efficiency, reporting quality and internal controls.
• Partner with IT and Finance Systems teams to enhance JD Edwards, Hubble, Workiva and related financial reporting tools.
