Job summary

A leading company in benefits management is seeking a Manager, Benefits & Retirement Programs to oversee the design, governance, and administration of their North American benefits portfolio. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience, including leadership in HR environments, and a strong understanding of compliance regulations. This role offers strategic influence and the opportunity to enhance employee experiences across Canada and the U.S.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in benefits and retirement programs (Canada & U.S.), including 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of unionized environments and experience interpreting collective agreements.
  • Familiarity with governance, audit, and reporting requirements for publicly traded companies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of benefits and retirement programs aligned with business goals.
  • Advise senior HR leaders on trends and cost containment.
  • Manage day-to-day administration including eligibility and enrollment.
