Our Premier, BDO 100 and BDO 500 portfolios represent the firm’s most strategic relationships, and we’re building a select group of high-performing Strategic Account Managers to advise the Key Account Partners (KAPs) and firm leadership to elevate these portfolios.

Our Strategic Account Managers are not coordinators — they are advisors who bring structure, insight, and foresight to how we present the power of the firm to help our clients create more value. They help design and execute growth strategies, strengthen client relationships, and ensure we deliver consistently on our promise of value. Over time, they may take on primary leadership of select accounts or groups of accounts. As one of a new cohort of Strategic Account Managers in Canada, you will set the bar for how we grow our most important accounts, collaborate with senior partners, and build trusted, long-term client relationships.

What You’ll Do
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will :
  • Co-lead accounts with KAPs – act as a strategic advisor to Key Account Partners, including driving strategy, execution, and relationship management.
  • Shape client growth strategies – drive and elevate annual and multi-year account planning, focusing on revenue growth, share of wallet, client impact, sales excellence and long-term relationships.
  • Engage deeply with clients – build trusted relationships with clients by being a sales leader on accounts working with KAPS to understand the client’s industry, business model, and priorities and building action plans around them.
  • Influence outcomes – help ensure accountability based on KPIs tied to growth, client satisfaction, and cross-service collaboration.
  • Contribute insights that matter – leverage market intelligence, data, and competitive knowledge to inform account strategy, priorities and action plans.
  • Offer a forward-looking perspective — anticipating client needs, industry shifts, and opportunities for BDO.
  • Make an impact across multiple accounts – bringing best practices and white space opportunities across a portfolio of accounts
  • Develop as future account leaders – build the skills, visibility, and trust to eventually take sales leadership for key of accounts.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; 5–8 years of senior account management, business development, or client leadership experience (professional services preferred).
  • Proven ability to lead strategic client relationships and drive account growth.
  • Executive presence and credibility with senior stakeholders, both internal and client-side.
  • Exceptional strategic, analytical, and commercial skills .
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in pursuit and delivery.
