Job summary

RONA is hiring a delivery driver to join its team in Ontario. You will deliver products on time using a DZ-class truck, ensuring professional customer service and safe handling of goods.

Role involves loading/unloading, vehicle inspection, and occasional Saturday work. Candidates should meet license requirements, be physically fit, and comfortable working outdoors with electronic tools such as Zebra.

Qualifications

• Must have Class DZ driver's license with driving experience and clean record (no more than 2 demerit points)
• Ability to handle physical tasks (loads up to 23 kg) and work outdoors up to 80% of the time
• Customer service skills and proficiency with electronic tools (Zebra)

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class DZ box truck for deliveries and provide excellent customer service
• Handle orders, secure loads, and deliver to designated sites
• Regularly inspect and maintain the truck and equipment per standards
• Load/unload trucks with pump truck and hand carts; assist with order preparation
• Support maintenance and safety practices; work every other Saturday

Be a key player in our delivery team! As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for delivering our products on time to customers while representing RONA with professionalism. Operating a Class 3 truck, Moffett forklift, or crane truck, you’ll provide reliable and efficient service, contributing to our mission of excellence.

Your role:

• Drive a single axle unit (DZ Class) box truck for deliveries
• Handle orders, secure loads in truck, delivering excellent customer service
• Regularly maintain and inspect the truck and equipment to comply with RONA standards and legal requirements
• Load/unload trucks, deliver products to designated sites, and handle goods as needed using pump truck and hand carts
• Support department maintenance and order preparation while adhering to health, safety, and loss prevention standards
• Work every other Saturday

What we're looking for:

• Class DZ driver's license with driving experience and driving record with no more than 2 demerit points (will need to send a copy of Driver license, recent CVOR and driving Abstract) no older than 1 month
• Ability to handle physical tasks (loads up to 23 kg) and work outdoors up to 80% of the time
• Customer service skills and proficiency with electronic tools (Zebra)
