Job summary

Adecco is hiring a General Labour Associate to support store setup and merchandising in New Glasgow, NS. This role is ideal for reliable, hands-on individuals who enjoy physical work and teamwork in a retail environment.

Responsibilities include stocking shelves, organizing inventory, setting up displays, and preparing the store for daily operations. Pay rate is $18-$19 per hour with a 8 AM – 4:30 PM shift and a short-term duration.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, merchandising, retail stocking or general labour is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
• CSA-approved steel-toe work boots are mandatory.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Stock and organize merchandise on store shelves.
• Unpack and move inventory throughout the store.
• Assemble and position displays as required.
• Ensure shelves are fully stocked and presented neatly.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow instructions from site supervisors and team leads.
• Assist with other general labour duties as needed during store set-up.
