Giant Tiger is seeking a Store Operations Associate (Full-Time) in Gatineau, QC. The role focuses on cash handling, deposits, SKU/pricing training, and maintaining inventory accuracy within a fast-paced retail environment.

You will balance registers, process deposits, train staff, and ensure safety and loss prevention standards are met, while contributing to a positive customer experience.

About This Role:

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Responsible for balancing the cash registers;
• Preparing bank deposits and entering information for daily cash report;
• Training associates on SKU / pricing related issues, printing signs and labels and operating the RF unit;
• Maintaining the integrity and accuracy of perpetual inventory and product pricing.;
• Prepare and participate in cycle counts;
• Following the best practices when receiving and processing merchandise;
• Ensuring health and safety policies and guidelines are followed;
• Ensuring Loss prevention best practices are followed.

When You’ll Work:

A typical full-time schedule will consist of day shifts, two evenings per week, and alternating weekends with a schedule of 35-40 hours weekly. A typical part-time schedule will be a mix of days, evenings and weekends, up to 24 hours weekly.
