Job summary

Roots is a proudly Canadian lifestyle brand and retailer seeking a Store Manager to lead operations at our Canada location. You will drive sales, coach a diverse team, and ensure the Roots Experience for customers and staff.

Reporting to the District Manager, you will shape store culture, manage visual merchandising, and develop staff through coaching and succession planning. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in retail apparel, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail apparel experience.
• Proven leadership with KPI-driven coaching.
• Experience with visual planning and merchandising.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Achieve store sales budgets through execution of standards and superior service.
• Provide ongoing coaching to staff to meet personal sales goals.
• Develop action plans to improve performance and productivity.
• Maintain customer loyalty by delivering a superior shopping experience and handling issues promptly.
• Lead by example in sales and customer service.
• Recruit qualified candidates to ensure the store meets business needs.
