If you’re ready to make a meaningful difference in both your career and your community, this opportunity could be the perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Influence results, including sales and profitability, through data-driven decisions and customer-first strategies
  • Coach and mentor a high-performance team to meet and exceed organizational objectives
  • Drive inventory management practices that ensure accuracy and minimize loss while aligning with community needs
  • Champion a safety culture
  • Set the tone for exceptional customer experience through highly prioritized service standards
  • Actively engage and build relationships within the local community as a pillar and brand ambassador of the UFA Cooperative
  • Be part of a Co-operative with over 115 years of proven success, consistently recognized as a Top 85 Employer in Alberta
Qualifications Required

  • Minimum 5+ years of operational leadership experience in a customer-focused environment
  • Demonstrated success in salesmanship and coaching teams to deliver superior outcomes
  • Practical expertise in change management and embedding lasting process improvements
  • Highly organized, decisive, and committed to excellence — a professional who lives to a high standard and exercises sound judgment
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills in both strategic and hands-on settings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), SAP, and retail point-of-sale systems

This is a safety-sensitive position, requiring on-site presence at UFA facilities and the operation of material handling equipment. Successful applicants must pass a drug and alcohol screening test as a condition of employment.
