Job summary

Carter's is seeking a Store Manager in Edmonton to lead a team and deliver exceptional customer experiences across our baby and children’s apparel brands. You will coach staff, drive performance, and ensure operational excellence across merchandising, payroll, and budgeting.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years in retail management, strong leadership, and a passion for building a welcoming, inclusive environment that supports our customers and families.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of retail or related management experience leading direct reports.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand for extended periods, including climbing ladders when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Build a talent pipeline through networking and recruiting; develop succession plans by training and developing your team.
  • Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive work environment for employees to collaborate and recognize performance to increase engagement.
  • Lead omnichannel initiatives and ensure teams are trained on tools and processes.
  • Understand and analyze KPIs to drive results and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Manage payroll and budgets to meet financial targets.
  • Lead the Leader on Duty program and coach team leaders to reach their potential.
