Job summary

Lee Valley Tools Ltd. seeks a store supervisor for the pop-up location at Carrefour Angrignon. You will ensure smooth operations in the manager's absence, supervise staff, and maintain exceptional customer service while meeting store targets.

The role requires 4-6 years of customer-facing experience and a post-secondary diploma in Business Administration is advantageous. The position offers an hourly rate of 25 CAD and a competitive compensation program.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store standards and policies and ensure smooth operations in the manager's absence.

• Meet labor and performance targets and handle data entry impacting store reports.
• Open and close the store and perform banking runs and errands as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to align with corporate strategies.

Overview:

We have an exciting opportunity our pop-up store in Carrefour du Angrignon.

Maintains the continuity of the company’s standards and policies and efficient store operations in the manager’s absence. Provides formal supervision to the store staff by co-ordinating, monitoring, and advising others, or by helping out where needed to ensure the store runs smoothly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Works with employees to assign, and monitor individual objectives and activities based on store specific priorities.
• Works with the Store Manager to execute staffing levels, participates in training for staff.
• Provide guidance and support to staff with problem solving and decision making, to ensure excellent customer service based on the needs of the business.
• Meets assigned Labor and performance targets
• Takes on projects that directly relate to the store’s function.
• responsible for entering and maintaining data entry that directly affects the stores reports.
• Works with other departments to ensure activities related to corporate strategies and direction are executed smoothly and accurately.
• Performs tasks and duties required to ensure the successful and efficient operation of a retail location.
• Will open/close the store.
• Will do bank runs and run errands, as required.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Completion of a post-secondary diploma program, ideally in Business Administration, is an asset
• 4-6 years of experience in a customer facing environment, or equivalent, is required.

Hourly Rate: $25/hr
