Job summary

Carquest-Auto-Parts in Saint John, NB is seeking a parts delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers and to assist with store operations. You will build relationships with customers, upsell products, and help maintain a clean, organized storefront and stockroom while following safety procedures.

Strong communication, basic math, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record are required; some flexibility for evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics for transactions.
• Willingness to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Prior automotive parts experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores and drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers.
• Collect credit accounts daily and build customer relationships.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to increase order value.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize stock areas.
• Assist customers on the floor and help with stock/inventory.
