Job summary

Ace Liquor Discounter is seeking a motivated Sales Associate to join our team at ACE Liquor Discounter Uplands in Alberta. You’ll deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and help maintain a fast-paced store environment.

Ideal candidates bring reliability, a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and comfort with processing payments and handling inventory. Training provided, with opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
• Cash handling and POS experience desirable.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide product recommendations.
• Operate the cash register, process payments, and issue receipts.
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and perform basic inventory checks.
• Check customer ID to verify legal purchasing age.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.

We're looking for a motivated and dependable Sales Associate to join our team. If you bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, we'll provide the training you need to succeed. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys customer service, teamwork, and a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide product recommendations
• Operate the cash register, process payments, and issue receipts
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks
• Check customer ID to verify legal purchasing age
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment

What We're Looking For

• Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset
• Valid ProServe Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for most of the shift
• Reliable, positive, and willing to support the team to meet shared goals
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
