Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking an Asset Protection Associate in St. Catharines, Ontario. You will help maintain a safe store environment, conduct security patrols, and support incident investigations while assisting with emergency procedures and external apprehensions as needed.

The role emphasizes clear communication with leadership and adherence to company policies, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Age - 16 or older
• Security Guard License

Responsibilities

• Conducts daily patrols of the store to help ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Investigates incidents of financial and physical shrink and communicates findings to Store Leadership.
• Supports store evacuation and emergency procedures during incidents such as fire or other emergencies.
• Carries out external apprehensions when required, in compliance with Company policies and legal standards.
• Gathers and communicates information from multiple sources, clearly explaining issues and findings to leadership and other stakeholders.
• Completes additional responsibilities as required to support evolving business needs and Asset Protection priorities.
• Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
