Job summary

Walmart in Victoria, BC is seeking a stocking Associate to provide customer service and support inventory flow in a busy Canadian store. You will stock picks and new merchandise, greet customers, help locate items and assist with purchases while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

The role involves coordinating workload, signing merchandise, and assisting with backroom prep and stock unloading. Starting pay is $18.40 per hour, with a focus on teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• Age – 16 or older.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Reviewing workload for assigned area(s) of the store
• Accurately signing merchandise.
• Maintaining modular integrity and shelf capacity errors.
• Working merchandise and CAP/VizPicking bins to support the Customer Availability Process.
• Ensuring proper fixtures, supplies and tools are used to complete necessary tasks.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Prepare backroom for stock unloading process.
