Job summary

Walmart Canada in Peterborough, ON is seeking a Stock Associate to provide friendly customer service while stocking picks and new merchandise in a safe, clean store environment.

You’ll work as part of a team, review workloads, sign merchandise, and support stock unloading, fixtures, and backroom prep; positions start at 17.75 CAD per hour with growth potential. This role emphasizes stock availability and safe, orderly aisles.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, promoting products, locating merchandise, aiding purchases, resolving issues, and referring concerns as needed.
• Review workload for assigned store areas.
• Accurately sign merchandise.
• Maintain modular integrity and shelf capacity; minimize errors.
• Work merchandise and CAP/VizPicking bins to support the Customer Availability Process.
• Ensure proper fixtures, supplies and tools are used to complete tasks.
• Contribute to a safe, clean, hazard-free environment by following policy and completing safety logs and securing displays/fixtures.
• Prepare backroom for stock unloading process.

Position Summary...

To provide customer service by completing assigned stocking activities. This will be accomplished by accurately stocking picks and new merchandise all in a safe and clean environment. This Associate will function as part of a team to strategically plan and execute duties based on workload and operational functions.

What You’ll Do...

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Reviewing workload for assigned area(s) of the store
• Accurately signing merchandise.
• Maintaining modular integrity and shelf capacity errors.
• Working merchandise and CAP/VizPicking bins to support the Customer Availability Process.
• Ensuring proper fixtures, supplies and tools are used to complete necessary tasks.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Prepare backroom for stock unloading process.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.75.
