Job summary

Walmart Canada in Selkirk, MB is seeking a Store Associate to support stocking functions and provide excellent customer service. You will greet customers, help locate items, and assist with purchases while promoting products and resolving concerns.

You will also prepare backroom stock, review workload, and ensure shelves and fixtures are secure in a clean, safe store environment. The role begins at a minimum hourly rate, with opportunities to contribute to inventory accuracy and workplace safety

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Reviewing workload for assigned area(s) of the store
• Accurately signing merchandise
• Maintaining modular integrity and shelf capacity errors
• Working merchandise and CAP/VizPicking bins to support the Customer Availability Process
• Ensuring proper fixtures, supplies and tools are used to complete necessary tasks
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure
• Prepare backroom for stock unloading process

This will be accomplished by accurately stocking picks and new merchandise all in a safe and clean environment.
