Job summary

Walmart Canada in Langford, BC is seeking a Stock Unloader Associate to unload trailers, process merchandise, and move pallets to the sales floor, all while maintaining a safe and clean workspace and supporting a positive customer experience.

You will pick and pack customer orders, ensure product quality and accurate labeling, and help keep packing areas organized and efficient in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Pick, Pack, and Prepare Customer Orders: picks and assembles orders from different temperature areas and confirms product selection, quantities and codes.
  • Ensure Product Quality and Order Accuracy: selects fresh products, removes damaged items, and labels with pick slips and shipping labels.
  • Maintain Efficient and Organized Packing: packs totes efficiently to maximize space while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Support Customers and Team Operations: balances fulfillment tasks with customer interaction and resolves issues as needed.
  • Follow Safety, Food Hygiene, and Quality Standards: keeps area clean, follows safety checks, and contributes ideas to improve processes and customer satisfaction.
  • Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule): open to evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

What You'll Do...
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Pick, Pack, and Prepare Customer Orders

Picks and assembles customer orders from different temperature areas with care and accuracy to support on‑time delivery. Packs orders carefully by confirming product selection, quantities, and product codes.

Ensure Product Quality and Order Accuracy

Selects fresh, high‑quality products and removes damaged or unsuitable items. Completes all required documentation and labels accurately, including pick slips and shipping labels.

Maintain Efficient and Organized Packing

Packs totes efficiently to make the best use of space while maintaining product quality and safety standards.

Support Customers and Team Operations

Balances fulfillment tasks with positive customer interaction, providing assistance and helping resolve issues when needed.

Follow Safety, Food Hygiene, and Quality Standards

Maintains a clean and safe work area by following food hygiene and safety procedures, cleaning spills promptly, and ensuring totes are clean before use. Operates equipment safely and completes required safety checks. Demonstrates flexibility and contributes ideas to improve processes, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

  • Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high‑quality service.

Physical Demands
  • Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.40.
